Hi! I'm Hanna, a Swedish illustrator who traded snowy forests for the rolling hills and enchanting woods of the UK. I've always been captivated by the magic woven into nature – not just the beauty we can see, but also the whispers of folklore in ancient trees, the dance of fairies in moonlit meadows, and the fantastical creatures that might be hiding just out of sight.

Growing up in Sweden, I was the little girl who always had a pencil in hand, drawing animals most often, but really anything that sparked a sense of wonder. Art was my haven, a place where I felt truly at home.

​

While music and singing were another passion (I even pursued a degree!), my heart always yearned for those early days of artistic exploration. Now, I've rekindled that childhood love for painting, and it feels like coming home. My watercolours are my way of capturing those fleeting moments of magic, using soft hues and delicate details to bring my whimsical visions to life.

​

You'll see my Swedish roots reflected in my work – evergreen trees, mossy woods, snowy landscapes, and creatures like reindeer, bears, wolves, and of course, the mystical beings of folklore and fantasy. My hope is that my art will inspire you, awaken your curiosity, and remind you of the beauty and mystery that exists in both the seen and unseen worlds.

When I'm not painting, you'll find me chasing wonder with my partner, Scott, in our camper van, Wally. I love weaving these adventures and the magic I discover into my art.
